Each set of wings is lovingly created from several layers of craft foam using my own patterns. They include a hidden wire armature for easy posing. After assembling them, they are carefully hand colored/painted with details for realism. They attach either by slipping the wire support down the back on the doll's clothing, or by clear rubber bands (included) around the doll's shoulders.
What kind of paint do you use? It's not something that will harden the foam or crack off? and what is the range of pose-ability? Just front to back or is up and down possible?
Thanks Craft foam is fairly easy to work with in general, but the level of detail I demand from myself for quality takes a lot of time and effort Each set of wings takes anywhere from 6-10 hour to complete.
